What Works in Gender Equality and Diversity? Lessons from Research Organisations
What you'll learn
This online seminar focuses on practical experience with implementing gender equality and diversity measures in research organisations. It brings together speakers from more advanced institutions within the Alliance4Life network who will share concrete approaches, tools, and lessons learned from their institutional practice.
The seminar will cover key themes such as translating gender equality policies into everyday organisational processes, identifying measures that have proven effective in practice, and addressing common challenges encountered during implementation. Particular attention will be paid to what works in real institutional settings, including contextual factors that influence success and sustainability.
Designed for representatives of research organisations, HR professionals, and research managers, the seminar offers an opportunity to learn from peer institutions and to reflect on how selected practices can be adapted to different organisational contexts. The format combines short presentations with moderated discussion, allowing space for questions and exchange.
The insights from the seminar will also contribute to the development of practical guidelines aimed at supporting research organisations at different stages of advancing gender equality and diversity.
