This course offers a basic introduction to biostatistics, with a specific focus on descriptive statistical methods commonly used in medical and life sciences research. Participants will learn how to describe and explore datasets using numerical summaries and graphical representations, using JASP statistical software. Key topics include types of variables, datadistribution, measures of central tendency and variability, and basic data visualization techniques.
